What is a Gangsheet?
A gangsheet is a single sheet that contains multiple designs arranged together for printing at once.
Instead of uploading and printing each design separately, you can “gang” them together onto one sheet.
Artwork Requirements
Our online DTF software supports a wide range of file types to suit your artwork:
Accepted File Formats: PNG, PDF, SVG, JPG, PSD, AI/EPS
Artwork Resolution:
Once uploaded, our software evaluates your file’s resolution using colour-coded indicators and alerts you if any images are overlapping.
Image Editor
Background Removal:
If you're not very tech-savvy, this tool can be especially helpful. Depending on the image, the background removal tool may prompt you when uploading your artwork. It uses AI to detect and remove the background automatically. Results may vary.
AI Upscaling:
If you’re working with a low-resolution file and need higher image quality, our software can help. Once your image is uploaded, simply select it and click the Upscale button to increase its resolution.
Halftone Remover:
DTF printing does not handle halftones well, as it prints only 100% opaque colours. Low-resolution images, AI-generated designs, or upscaled artwork may introduce halftones, which can cause anti-aliasing issues.
Anti-aliasing occurs when a graphics program attempts to smooth out edges so the image appears less jagged. This can sometimes create a very fine white halo around your design.
Use our halftone tool to help reduce this issue by adjusting the angle and increasing the density.
Crop Images:
Use the Crop tool to adjust the shape of your image—change the aspect ratio, resize it, or crop it into a circle.
Change Colours:
Need to change a colour? In the image editor, you can select a colour and replace it with another or remove it altogether. Results may vary depending on your file type.
Background Colour (Visual Aid):
Having trouble seeing your design on a transparent background? Go to Settings and use the Visual Aid feature to change the background colour of your gangsheet. You can also adjust the background colour while editing your images to improve contrast.

Image Sizing:
Need to change the size of your image? You can resize it directly on the gangsheet or use the edit tool for more precise adjustments.
Filling Your Gangsheet:
You have a few options:
- Click on an image repeatedly to add copies one at a time
- Use the Auto Fill Sheet option: enter the number of images you need, adjust the margins, and select Auto Fill
If you have multiple designs and would like help optimizing your gangsheet layout, use the Auto Build option. Simply upload your images, set the quantities, and click Apply. If you add more images than can fit on your selected gangsheet size, the tool will automatically adjust the layout to make everything fit.
Mock-Up Tool:
Want to see how your design will look on different garments? Use the FitCheck tool to create a visual mock-up. You can change the garment colour and download the preview.
Add Text:
Need to add text to your design? Use the Add Text tool to choose from 20+ fonts, adjust the colour, size, and aspect ratio, and add a stroke if desired.
Gangsheet sizing:
Started with the wrong gangsheet size? No problem. You can now update your gangsheet dimensions directly in the builder without losing your layout or starting over. Note: Once your design is added to the cart, you will no longer be able to make changes to it's size.
Re-order Previous Designs:
The first step to finding your past orders is to log in to your account. Then, head to the DTF product page and select the Previous Designs option to view your past gangsheets.
Selecting a gangsheet will automatically add it to your cart. From there, you can select Edit to view your gangsheet in detail or make changes. Once you’re finished, click Add to Cart again to save your updates.
Note: The size of previously ordered gangsheets cannot be modified.
